Volkswagen Vento

Volkswagen comes both in petrol and diesel model. The Volkswagen Vento comes with the same engine as is available in Volkswagen Polo i.e. 1.6 L petrol and diesel engines. While both petrol and diesel engines are capable of producing power of 105 PS, the torque figure varies.  The diesel engine generates a thumping torque of 250 Nm and the petrol trim generates 153 Nm of max torque. Volkswagen Vento is introduced in India with manual and automatic transmission. The petrol version is equipped with a 5 speed and 6 speed automatic gearbox with triptronic while the diesel variant comes with only 5 speed manual gearbox.

The Volkswagen Vento comes with green tinted heat absorbing glass that keeps the temperature inside, constant. The bumpers, rear view mirrors and door handles are painted in body colour. The rear view of the car is compact with simple and sober designing job. The rear side has high mounted brake light that cautions other drivers to keep their car at a safe distance. All the exterior design is done with neat and clean joining lines. 

The dashboard of the car is wrapped in two tone anti-glare black and beige. The dashboard houses meters, glove box, premium sound system, climatronic AC, air vents, etc. A huge storage space for cups, magazines, luggage etc. are carved inside the cabin. The higher end variant of the Volkswagen Vento comes with chrome package and leather wrapped steering wheel, gearshift knob, hand brake lever and gearshift boot..The Volkswagen Vento has been loaded with driver and co-driver side airbags, front and rear fog lights, front disc brakes, ABS, electronic anti-theft engine immobiliser, manual day/night interior rear view mirror, height adjustable 3 point front seat belts, anti-theft system with interior surveillance and back up alarm, pinch guard safety for all 4 power windows, etc.

VOLKSWAGEN VENTO MILEAGE

Volkswagen Vento comes in both Petrol and Diesel engine. The all new Vento is packed with the same engine as Volkswagen Polo. The car has a 1.6 L engine. The new Volkswagen Vento is equipped with both 5 speed manual transmission and a 6 speed automatic gearbox (in the petrol version) and 5 speed manual gearbox (diesel version) for smooth changes and easy shifting of gears.  Volkswagen Vento 

offer smoother and faster gear shifts and acceleration in both manual transmission/automatic mode. This engine is claimed to offer a mileage of 11.2 kmpl in the city and 15.83 kmpl on the highway while the AT version gives a mileage of 14.4 kmpl. The diesel variant of the car delivers 20.54 kmpl mileage on highway and 15.8 kmpl in city.

POWER OF VENTO

Volkswagen Vento is mated with a 5 Speed Manual and 6 speed automatic gearbox with triptronic (in the petrol version) for easy shifting of gears.This engine offers idling speed to be lowered without compromising on its high-speed performance. The highly powerful engine of Volkswagen Vento lays out an impressive power of 105 bhp at 5250 rpm and a thumping torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm for the petrol engine and 250 Nm at 1500-2500 rpm for the diesel engine.

ACCELERATION AND PICKUP

The acceleration of a car is greatly dependent on the torque and transmission. Manual transmission offers greater mileage and acceleration than the automatic transmission. The Volkswagen Vento is powered by 5 Speed Manual Transmission and 6 speed automatic gearbox (in Highline variant of the petrol engine ) to facilitate smoother changes in gears. The petrol operated variant of the car can touch a top speed of 185 kmph with manual gearbox and 183 kmph with the automatic transmission while the diesel variant can be topped up to 186 kmph.

It has 1.6 L engine DOHC in-line petrol engine for both manual and automatic options. The engine is equipped with 4 valves per cylinder which will offer clear emission and a higher torque. Volkswagen Vento petrol version is incorporated with 5 Speed Manual Transmission and 6 speed automatic gearbox with triptronic and diesel version hosts only 5 speed manual gearbox to enable smooth changes in gears.The highly powerful petrol engine of Volkswagen Vento pumps out max power of 105 Ps at 5250 rpm and a thumping torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm .The diesel engine of the car belts out a top power of 105 Ps at 4400 rpm and generates a peak torque of 250 Nm at 1500-2500 rpm.
